Meet The Craftsman

Pop’s Shop began with little hands and big imaginations. 

I’m known as "Papa" to my 17 grandchildren — a name that’s filled with love, joy, laughter, and a lot of sawdust. 

What started as a simple hobby building wooden toys and marble towers for them slowly turned into something more.

At first, it was just a way to spend time in the shop and make something fun for the kids. But over time, that creative spark grew. 

As charcuterie boards and handmade gifts became more popular, I began making custom pieces for my wife, daughter, daughters-in-law, and close friends. One board led to another… and before I knew it, I was completely drawn in. I found a new kind of joy in shaping, sanding, and pouring — and watching each unique piece come to life.

Today, Pop’s Shop is my creative outlet. Every board I make is one-of-a-kind, crafted with care from a mix of natural wood, resin, stone, and sometimes a few surprises — 

all tied back to my lifelong love of woodworking and my instinct to tinker with just about anything I can get my hands on. 

No templates. No shortcuts. Just authentic craftsmanship, a bit of curiosity, and a whole lot of heart.
